RESPOND Module Issues
If you suspect that you have encountered an error related to the RESPOND module, try the following:
Start by checking that all of the services are running. For additional information, see the Basic Troubleshooting section.
Check that 1-3 minutes has passed, because it may take a few minutes for rules to start working.
Verify that there is at least one GPU configured as real-time with a capacity of at least 1.
Make sure you are not attempting to utilize more RESPOND channels than specified in your license.
Each camera is defined by default with a processing weight of 1. Make sure the GPU has sufficient capacity configured.
After setting a GPU for real-time, restart BriefCamVSService (from the Task Manager) and verify that the OX6.RealTime Service is running (in the BriefCam Administrator Console).
Verify that the activated license contains the Respond feature (#74) by clicking on the relevant sentinel key and checking its products->features in localhost:1947.
Test that the Alert Processing Server is working properly by looking at the logs after activating a rule and at the CPU and memory usage of the process.
Use the VIT tool to determine if the stream is working from the specific camera.
Check in the VMS if the RTSP protocol is enabled.
Check if the RTSP protocol is allowed on the firewall.
