Overview of XProtect Evidence Plugin
The XProtect Evidence Plugin is organized by creating jobs. Each job is independent of the others, and multiple jobs can be carried out simultaneously.
User interface components
The XProtect Evidence Plugin user interface (UI) has several main parts: the camera tree view, video canvas, information pane (metaform), event creation pane, and camera request pane. There is also a View Submissions button to show the status of your submitted jobs.
UI component | Description |
Video canvas | Displays a view of the selected camera in review mode. |
Camera tree | Enables you to select and view the camera of interest. |
Information pane | Displays the configured metaform, allowing you to enter the metadata related to the case/incident. |
Camera Request pane | Lists all the cameras with their respective event date and times chosen to be sent. |
Event Creation pane | Contains the tools to select your start date/time and your end date/time and show you the selected duration of the event. |
Evidence tab | Enables you to open the XProtect Evidence Plugin. |
