Why can't I play back the original video?

To resolve this issue:

  1. Check that the VMS has a recording for the selected time.

  2. Confirm that the VSServer service is running. The VSServer service fetches the original video from the VMS if it is missing.

  3. Check that the camera is enabled and configured properly in the VMS.

  4. Open the Video Integration Tester (VIT) (located at: C:\Program Files\BriefCam\BriefCam Server\VideoIntegrationTester.exe) and test the fetching. This will help you figure out if the problem is with the BriefCam engine or at the VMS/Network level.
