Requirements for using XProtect Remote Manager

Before you can connect your XProtect VMS installation, you must meet the following requirements:

• Have an active Milestone Care Plus subscription or use a test license.

• Have a compatible XProtect VMS product. See Compatibility

• Have a My Milestone account.

• Have installed XProtect Cloud Connector on the management server host.

• Have an assigned role for XProtect Remote Manager. See Request access to XProtect Remote Manager from Milestone

• Have internet access. If you have restricted internet access, you can add XProtect Remote Manager addresses as exceptions in your firewall. See Firewall exceptions.
