Check if your XProtect VMS installation reports to XProtect Remote Manager

XProtect Cloud Connector links your on-premises installation to XProtect Remote Manager. When you are on premises and want to verify that your site reports to XProtect Remote Manager, you can check XProtect Cloud Connector.

To report to XProtect Remote Manager, you must install the XProtect Cloud Connector service on the management server host.

Check if you have installed XProtect Cloud Connector

On the management server host, go to Windows Settings > Apps & features. If you have installed XProtect Cloud Connector, it will be listed there.

If the XProtect Cloud Connector is not installed, your site cannot report to XProtect Remote Manager.

Check if the XProtect Cloud Connector service is running

On the management server host, open the Start menu and enter services.msc to open Services. Check if the XProtect Cloud Connector service is running.

If the service is stopped, your site cannot report to XProtect Remote Manager.
