Update multiple XProtect components on hosts

Before installing updates on a host, verify that the update agents are authorized to do this action. See Authorize update agents to install updates on hosts.
If your system does not have internet access, you will only see the components for which you have downloaded updates.
To install updates for multiple components:
Go to the Components page. On the Updates Available tab, you see the components with updates.
Select the check box before the components you want to update. To find a component quickly, search by component name or filter the results by component type, installed version, or latest version.
In the Apply patches window, click to select the components you want to update. Then, select the hosts on which you want to apply the update.
When the process is complete, the components' status changes to Up-to-date, and the status icon becomes green. If the status of the host becomes Pending restart, you must restart the host to complete the update. See Restart a host from XProtect Update Manager.
