Update a single XProtect component on hosts

Before installing updates on a host, verify that the update agents are authorized to do this action. See Authorize update agents to install updates on hosts.
If your system does not have internet access, you will only see the components for which you have downloaded updates.
To install updates for a single component:
Go to the Components page. On the Updates Available tab, click on a component to open the side panel. To find a component quickly, search by component name or filter the results by component type, installed version, or latest version.
Click the
icon to open a new window.In the Apply patches window, select the hosts on which you want to apply the update the component.
When the process is complete, the components' status changes to Up-to-date, and the status icon becomes green. If the host's status changes to Pending restart, you must restart the host to complete the update. See Restart a host from XProtect Update Manager.
