Exporters
exporters:
otlphttp/server: # OTLPHTTP exporter uses HTTP Protobuf by default endpoint: "https://backendhost:4318" # Target URL to export OTLP
headers: {"authorization": "Bearer ****************"} # API key to access the log backend tls:
ca_file: [PATH TO CERTIFICATE] # CA public certificate of the log backend retry_on_failure: # Additional retry options when logs cannot be exported to the backend
max_elapsed_time: 0 # Disable max elapsed time to allow retries indefinitely
And just like the receivers, the exporters support other features like:
(Recommended) TLS enabled by specifying the public CA certificate used by the log.
(Optional) Authorization header to allow the collector to export data to the backend.
(Recommended) Retry in case of failure.
Additional features of how to configure a sending queue to make sure logs are cached before exports will be shown in the sections ahead.
Enabling TLS and other options for these specific exporters can be found in OTLP exporter and OTLP HTTP ex-porter.
