Overview of XProtect Evidence Plug-in
The XProtect Evidence Plug-in can be accessed in the Smart Client through the Evidence tab, which consolidates all the plug-in functionality. It is organized by creating jobs. Each job is independent of the others, and multiple jobs can be carried out simultaneously.
User interface components
The XProtect Evidence Plug-in user interface (UI) has several main parts: the camera tree view, video canvas, information pane (metaform), event creation pane, and camera request pane. There is also a View Submissions button to show the status of your submitted jobs.
UI component | Description |
Video canvas | Displays a view of the selected camera in review mode. |
Camera tree | Enables you to select and view the camera of interest. |
Information pane | Displays the configured metaform, allowing you to enter the metadata related to the case/incident. |
Camera Request pane | Lists all the cameras with their respective event date and times chosen to be sent. |
Event Creation pane | Contains the tools to select your start date/time and your end date/time and show you the selected duration of the event. |
