The Milestone Husky IVO units are designed and built on an enterprise grade server architecture with a robust x64 computing architecture, utilizing industry-standard Intel® Core™ and Xeon® processors.
In contrast to proprietary NVR appliances, which are limited by specialized, task-specific firmware, Husky IVO units operate in an open Windows IoT Enterprise or Windows Server IoT OS environment. This configuration establishes the unit as a flexible, multi-purpose server, capable of supporting complex IT functions, including database management, Microsoft Windows applications, and IoT metadata processing.
