Listen to audio from one or more microphones
If you need to focus on other tasks while keeping an eye on your patients, you can listen to audio from one or more patient rooms at the same time.
By default, all microphones are muted, you must enable each microphone separately. You can listen to audio from all cameras with microphones that have been associated with XProtect Hospital Assist.
To unmute a microphone:

In the camera view in live mode, press
. The button changes to
.
You unmute the microphone for an amount of time that is defined by your organization. If you are unsure about the time interval to listen to audio from an individual microphone, contact your administrator.
To help you identify the microphone the audio is coming from, the button becomes green
when the system detects sound.

To manually mute the microphone, select
.
If you go to another XProtect Smart Client tab, the microphone mutes automatically.
