The following steps are the last steps you need to complete to export video. At this point, you have already added video sequences to the export list and perfected the content for export.

The XProtect format offers the highest security and quality for exports. The export also doesn’t take long to complete.

Steps Action
Select export format.
Change or verify the format settings.

Choose if you want to:

  • include XProtect Smart Client – Player.

  • allow the recipient of the export to make new exports.

  • protect the export with a password.

  • include digital signature to verify the authenticity of the video evidence.

  • add comments to the export.

Select Close to save your selections.

Start the export.
Give the export file a name, add a comment, and choose where to save the export. Select Export when you are done.
If you have chosen to protect the export file with a password, now enter a password and select Create.
