XProtect Smart Wall (explained)

XProtect Smart Wall is an advanced add-on tool for XProtect Smart Client that enables organizations to create video walls that meet their specific security demands. XProtect Smart Wall provides an overview of all the video data in the XProtectVMS
Short for "Video Management Software". system and supports any amount or combination of monitors.
With XProtect Smart Wall, operatorsA professional user of an XProtect client application. can view and share entire video walls or various types of content within specific video walls, for example video, images, text, alarms, and the smart map.
Initially, XProtect Smart Wall is configured by a system administrator. For example, this includes defining the video wall, its monitors, the presets that control the monitor layout, and how cameras are distributed across the different monitors.
With the Smart Wall control, operators can change what is being displayed on the video wall by:
- Pushing cameras and other types of content to the video wall
- Sending entire views to the monitors
- Applying predefined presets
Display changes can also be controlled by rules that automatically change the presets.
