Upgrade in a cluster
Make sure to have a backup of the database before updating the cluster.
- Stop the Management Server service on all management servers in the cluster.
- Uninstall the management server on all servers in the cluster.
- Use the procedure for installing multiple management servers in a cluster as described for install in a cluster. Refer to Install a new XProtect system.
When installing, make sure to reuse the existing SQL Server and the existing SQL database that currently stores the system configuration. The system configuration is automatically upgraded.
