Requirements for using push-to-talk
To use the push-to-talk (PTT) feature on your mobile device in your XProtect VMS, you must have:
Cameras with speakers attached.
Sufficient user permissions.
Note
Access to the push-to-talk feature may be restricted depending on your user permissions. Ask your system administrator if in doubt.
Allowed the XProtect Mobile app to use the microphone of your mobile device.
HTTP or HTTPS with a CA certificate connection.
If you want to use an HTTPS connection, a digital certificate from a certificate authority (CA) must be installed on your XProtect Mobile server.
