By default, if a node restarts, it keeps its previous state. You can change that behavior and make a node to always start or stop after a restart.

Important

To revert to the default behavior and restore the node to keep the state before the restart, you need to remove the existing failover configuration and reconfigure the failover cluster.

  1. In the failover web console. click the node you want to modify.

  2. From the three-dot menu next to the node, click Disable/Enable, then Startup at boot.

  3. Select one of the following options:

    • Enable - the node starts automatically after the restart and comes into a SECOND state.

    • Disable - the node comes into a STOP state after the restart. You can start the node manually from the failover web console.
