View the historical state of your hardware and print a report
Use the System Monitor feature to view the historical performance and health of your VMS system.
Analyze trends in CPU usage, bandwidth consumption, and other system resources to identify capacity issues and determine whether hardware upgrades are needed.
Remember to enable the collection of historical data. See Collect historical data of hardware states.
In the System Monitor window, select a tile with the hardware you want to know the historical well-being of, or from the lower part of the window, select a server or camera.
Select Details to the right side of the relevant server or camera.
For servers, select History to the right of the hardware that you want to investigate. For cameras, select the link.
If you want to print a report, select the PDF icon.
Note
You can only create historical reports with data from the recording server where the device is currently located.
