The first step to support the OpenTelemetry based audit logging integration is to emit server logs from XProtect services using OpenTelemetry, which can now do so using the OpenTelemetry Protocol (OTLP). XProtect services will now check for the presence of a configuration file during their startup process, which will dictate how to export logs and where to send them.

This file is shared among all XProtect services on each machine or node and is structured around the providers and loggers concepts.
