Components not included in the certified system
The following XProtect components and related products are not part of the certified configuration. Some of these components, such as the XProtect Management Client and XProtect Smart Client, may be required to administer or operate a deployment of the certified system. However, they do not implement the security functions evaluated during the certification. Instead, they provide user interfaces and supporting functionality that interact with the certified server components.
Other components provide optional functionality such as failover, mobile access, web access, integrations, analytics, reporting, or hardware connectivity. These components are outside the scope of the certified configuration and are not covered by the certification's security claims.

Milestone Federated Architecture
Hardware devices (such as cameras, microphones, speakers, metadata devices, and other connected physical security devices) are not part of the certified system.
These devices may provide video, audio, metadata, or other information to XProtect Corporate, but their hardware, firmware, operating systems, configuration, security functions, and communications are outside the scope of the certification.
