Requirements for Smart Connect setup

To use Smart Connect and verify that you have configured XProtect Mobile correctly, you must have:

• A public IP address for your XProtect Mobile server. The address can be static or dynamic, but typically it's a good idea to use static IP addresses
• A valid license for Smart Connect
• An up-to-date Milestone Care™ agreement with Milestone Systems
