Associating cameras with the access control system integration

After you have integrated your access control system with the XProtect VMS, you can associate cameras from XProtect Management Client.

You must link access points in the access control system with cameras in the XProtect system to show the related video for events from the doors.

You can map several cameras to one access point. When XProtect Smart Client operators investigate events, they can view video from all the cameras associated with that access point. The operator can also add one of the cameras if they configure view items for the Access monitor.

Doors associated with an access control door license are enabled by default. You can clear the check box to disable a door and free an access control door license if you need to.

Operators must log in to XProtect Smart Client again to see and use the new access control system.

You can change the configuration at any time.
