Monitor and manage your system
The Broadcom LSI Storage Authority application
Your Milestone Husky unit contains the Broadcom LSI Storage Authority software (LSA), which is a browser-based application that can help you configure, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot your system and storage hardware.
The LSI Storage Authority application enables you to monitor controllers and configure hard drives on the controller. The status of the controller cards, virtual drives and physical drives on the controller is displayed with status icons and event texts.
You can also perform system maintenance tasks, such as update controller firmware and configure as well as rebuild RAID hard drives.
In addition to displaying information related to drive or device failures, the LSI Storage Authority application also provides recommendations and helps you locate and troubleshoot drives or devices that have issues.
Accessing the LSI Storage Authority application
The shortcut to the LSI Storage Authority application is located on the desktop of your Milestone Huskyunit and is named Launch LSA.
You must use your Windows username and password and you must have administrator privileges to make changes.
For more information, see LSI Storage Authority user's guide.
