Dwell Settings (OX5 Engine)

In the OX5 engine, by default, the dwell time is 2 minutes. If you want the dwell time for vehicles and/or people to be another length up to 5 minutes:

  1. Open the OX.ini file and set the static vehicles and/or static people to true.

  2. In the BriefCam Administrator Console, change the ClientDwellMaximumValue environment setting to the maximum value, up to 5 minutes.

If only one of the OX.ini parameters is set to true, the Dwell time in the UI will appear as 5 minutes, but the parameter set as false will only take account of 2 minutes. This may lead to false alerts.

Note that in the OX6 engine, the maximum dwell is 10 minutes.
